We are following advice and latest guidelines from New Zealand Ministry for Primary Industries and WorkSafe NZ to minimise risk of exposure to COVID-19 throughout operations for the Longevity Fasting Diet.
KEEPING STAFF AND CUSTOMERS SAFE
Sip Kitchen operates under strict Food Control Plans for both its commercial kitchen facilities, but have taken additional steps to ensure the health and safety of their staff and customers during Alert Level 3.
Sip Kitchen has a Covid-19 Operational Plan that works in conjunction with our site Food Control Plans and encompasses all MPI & Worksafe NZ requirements. Sip Kitchen regularly reviews updates from MPI & Worksafe NZ and adjusts their operational plan accordingly.
Two commercial kitchen sites are used as needed to meet production demands - each site has dedicated site production staff that only work at that site. Staff numbers are limited on each site through roster and shift management to maintain physical distancing parameters at all times.
Production staff change into their clean uniform and apron at work in the sites changing facilities and can not travel to work in their work clothing.
Upon arriving at work the production staff sign in process requires a declaration that they are medically 'fit for work' and exhibit no Covid-19 symptoms.
There is enhanced cleaning and sanitisation protocols before, during, and after each working shift
Receiving Product Deliveries
Ingredients required for food production are sourced through suppliers allowed to operate at Alert Level 3. All delivery drivers are operating to their safe Alert Level 3 protocols as specified by their respective businesses.
Production staff unpack all orders wearing gloves and all produce is pre-washed. No damaged packaging or deliveries are accepted.
LFD Meal Pack and Delivery Process
Staff wear gloves when packing meal packs into the Chilltainers. Once sealed the Chilltainers are sanitised.
All Auckland deliveries are completed by the same delivery driver (Darren) and vehicle. There is regular cleaning and disinfecting of this vehicle to keep it spotless. Darren delivers all orders wearing gloves and mouth cover and texts customer once delivery is made to eliminate contact.
If we remain in Alert Level 3, customers will need to have their meal packs delivered via contactless delivery. We will get in touch if this effects your LFD intake.
Menus and ingredient lists will continue to be emailed to all LFD participants instead of being included in the meal pack.
We will keep you updated and will notify you if anything changes with the production of the LFD.
