Dr Jocelyn Lydford
Dr Jocelyn Lydford owns and leads Glenfield Family Practice and has over 27 years experience in general medicine practice.
For the last fourteen years, she has been working closely with the Glenfield and neighbouring communities in providing quality primary healthcare. It is also during this time that she developed an interest in functional medicine, which she has been practicing, in addition to general medicine.
Dr Lydford believes that environmental inputs, mind body connections and genetic makeup contribute significantly to a person's health and wellbeing. Her desire is to get to the root cause of a patient's medical complaint, which requires a detailed understanding of a patient's genetic profile, their biochemistry as well as their lifestyle factors in improving their health outcomes.
Dr Lousie Kuegler
Dr Louise Kuegler has worked in general practice for many years and is currently working at Stonefields Medical Centre in Auckland. She enjoys all aspects of general practice and has post graduate diplomas/ certificates in Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Nutritional and Environmental medicine. Louise has also recently completed Mindfulness training. You may find her quietly exploring many aspects of your health and wellbeing. She also works at the University of Auckland as a senior lecturer and in General Practice education.
Dr Mikki Williden
Dr Mikki Williden graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition, and a Bachelor of Physical Education from the University of Otago, Dunedin, New Zealand. She attained her Masters in Science (Human Nutrition) with First Class Honours in 2003, focusing on the development of a childhood obesity prevention programme. She then obtained her PhD in 2011, completing her doctoral thesis in health and productivity in the New Zealand workforce.
She has been privately consulting with clients since 2006, and has worked with a vast number of people with different health and performance goals.
Miria is a massage therapist who first trained in 1999 and began her practice in London, followed by four years in Sydney, and has now been treating patients in Auckland for 12 years.
Miria works with a variety of individuals, those who want a general tune up, to injuries, expectant Mums, kids, athletes, stressed individuals, and retirees who are keen on ageing youthfully at Milford Chiropractic. Passionate about creating unique treatments, she pulls from a variety of modalities in tailoring a plan for each individual.
Dr Ronald Goedeke
Dr Ron Goedeke has been operating a wellness clinic focused on health and well-being for over ten years. He specialises in functional medicine and has been a member of the American Academy of Anti-aging since 1999. He has helped thousands of patients improve their health through correct nutrition, supplementation and hormone balance at the Appearance Medicine and Wellness Centre. With years of clinical experience, he has come to understand which supplements offer the biggest health benefits and has been a great asset to choosing the right ingredients to use.
Tamara qualified as a New Zealand Registered Nurse in 2001 with a Degree in Health Sciences (Nursing). In 2007 she embarked on a part time Double Diploma in Nutrition and Naturopathy from the prestigious College of Naturopathic Medicine in London, UK. Once qualified, she moved back to NZ to take up her role as practice nurse/nutritionist for the renowned Dr William Ferguson at the Kumeu Village Medical Centre.
Dr Ula Heywood
Dr Ula Heywood is the Clinical Director at Edison Health. Over the last twelve years, in addition to my work as an Emergency Medicine Specialist and Pre-Hospital Retrieval doctor with Westpac Rescue Helicopters, Ula has had a deep interest in preventative health and wellness, particularly the role that nutrition, sleep, exercise and mindfulness play.
Ula is fascinated by the subjects of epigenetics, nutrigenomics and individualised healthcare programs. She believes it is definitely the way of the future for medicine and the only way to reduce the chronic disease burden on our current healthcare system.
Vinka Wong is a registered Clinical Nutritionist. She completed her first degree in a Bachelor of Business and Psychology and has spent many years working in the corporate world as an HR Manager. This has given her great skills to compliment her practice. To Vinka, learning why we eat is just as important as learning what to eat. At any spare moment, she can be caught researching and reading about new developments in her field.
